Contract UX Architect
Job Description
We are looking for senior level experience designer contractor to support customer acquisition platform at the client’s and leading end-to-end discovery and design of acquisition related experiences for bankers and customers. In addition to strong design craft and Figma delivery skills, key to success in this role will be proven ability to leverage user-centered design methods to plan, conduct discovery and effectively communicate design recommendations. This role will need to effectively collaborate with design and cross-functional partners across the full lifecycle of design – from actively engaging in road-mapping to iterative design and close partnership with engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, problem framing, and early-stage concept development, translating insights into clear design strategies
- Design end-to-end user experiences for digital products
- Translate business and user needs into flow diagrams, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Apply enterprise design system standards and accessibility guidelines
- Collaborate with peers, product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking and execution
- Expert with Figma and experience working with existing design systems
- Experience working in agile, cross functional teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to problem-solve and work independently
Preferred skills/experience
- Experience working within large, regulated enterprises
- Familiarity with enterprise design systems
- Experience designing complex workflows or platform‑based products
- Experience in applying AI to support ideation and prototyping
