ContractAI Developer / GenAI Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AI Developer / GenAI Engineer with strong Python development and hands-on AI/ML experience. The ideal candidate will develop rapid PoCs, experiment with emerging AI technologies, and help transition successful solutions into scalable, production-ready applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML and GenAI solutions.
- Build and enhance PoCs using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and agentic frameworks.
- Develop AI applications, APIs, pipelines, and orchestration components using Python.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to rapidly prototype and refine AI solutions.
- Implement AI engineering best practices, design patterns, testing, code quality, and version control.
- Support the transition of AI solutions from PoC to production.
- Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and AI/model quality monitoring for production services.
Required Skills
- Python development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on AI/ML project experience, particularly productizing AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and commercial GPT models.
- Strong experience with RAG architecture, including ingestion pipelines, chunking strategies, and retrieval.
- Experience with vector databases/vector search, indexing, similarity search, and metadata filtering.
- Experience with prompt engineering, structured outputs, model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, regression testing, and AI guardrails.
- Experience with MCP patterns, MCP servers/tool endpoints, and integrating tools/context with LLM applications.
- Experience developing agentic workflows and A2A/multi-agent patterns.
- Strong SQL/SQL Server skills, including queries, joins, and data access patterns for AI applications.
- Proficiency with Git and software development best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage GitHub Copilot for development acceleration.
- Experience with production observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, and model/prompt monitoring.
- Microsoft Fabric/Azure Fabric experience is preferred.
