Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Integrate backend services with internal platforms, market data sources, and analytics systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using JUnit and automated testing frameworks.
Identify and resolve technical debt while promoting engineering best practices.
Collaborate across data, APIs, services, and infrastructure to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Skills

5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
2–3 years of experience with Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
1–2 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.
Experience with TypeScript and modern React frameworks (Vite, Next.js, etc.).
Experience with JUnit or other automated testing frameworks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other event-driven architectures.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Experience with JIRA and Agile development methodologies.
Hands-on experience with React, including state management and API integration.
Prior experience in financial services, capital markets, or fintech.
Shell scripting experience for automation and operational support.
Understanding of fixed income concepts such as duration, convexity, spread, option-adjusted spread (OAS), and related derivatives.
