ContractFull Stack Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong backend development experience in Java and hands-on frontend experience with React.js. The ideal candidate will contribute to an enterprise forecasting platform supporting financial and risk analytics, with a focus on application modernization, workflow optimization, access control, and processing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and React.js.
- Improve access control and authorization mechanisms across enterprise applications.
- Enhance job queuing, scheduling, and workflow orchestration to support concurrent execution, prioritization, and efficient resource utilization.
- Analyze application workflows and processing pipelines to identify bottlenecks and improve overall performance.
- Develop performance metrics and optimization strategies for long-running or distributed workloads.
- Modernize and enhance UI architecture, usability, information hierarchy, and overall application experience.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and support frontend/backend integration.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify technical improvements and deliver reliable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3–4+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong backend focus.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with js or a similar modern JavaScript framework.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Git, Unix/Linux, and Jenkins.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Understanding of workflow execution, orchestration, job scheduling, or queuing systems.
- Experience with application performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to distributed systems, concurrent processing, or long-running compute workloads.
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, or role-based access control.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience with financial services, risk, forecasting, analytics, or enterprise platforms is a plus.
