Contract Senior Java Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with a strong background in automated testing and Java development. The role is heavily focused on building and maintaining automated test solutions for Java applications, with hands-on experience in JUnit, JaCoCo, and Jenkins. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering teams to improve code quality, strengthen CI/CD processes, and support high-impact financial applications.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong emphasis on automated testing.
- Hands-on expertise with JUnit, JaCoCo, Jenkins, IntelliJ IDEA, Git, and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and improving test coverage.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and software testing best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with JUnit, JaCoCo, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Java 21.
- Knowledge of SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), JIRA, and event-driven architectures.
- Previous experience in financial services, fintech, or capital markets.
