Contract Software Developer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to build and enhance enterprise forecasting applications supporting financial planning and reporting. The role involves developing scalable software solutions, improving application performance, supporting production releases, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver new forecasting capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software development experience with Python, Java, or C#
- Strong experience with Git, SQL, and unit testing frameworks
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container technologies
- Proficiency in shell scripting for automation and operational support
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and Agile development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial services or fixed income domain
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA
- Experience with JIRA and working with cross-functional stakeholders
