Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop data models, design data integration solutions, and implement technical solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements.
  • Analyze and integrate large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Develop and integrate REST-based APIs for data-driven applications.
  • Build and support data processing, migration, and transformation pipelines.
  • Develop and execute unit tests based on business requirements and functional specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Python and microservices.
  • Experience with Python frameworks such as Django and FastAPI.
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex query analysis and optimization.
  • Experience with relational and cloud databases, including Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience with AWS and cloud environments.
  • Experience analyzing and joining large datasets across multiple sources.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with Jira, Eclipse, Git, Bitbucket, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Python testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Python development stacks, frameworks, ecosystems, and tools, including NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, and scikit-learn.
  • Experience building data processing pipelines using Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar tools.
  • Experience with PySpark, Databricks, or Airflow for data ingestion, migration, and transformation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
